NEWARK, DE - Senior Paul Amess and sophomore Eric Plisko each shot 75 (+3) as Temple stands in 11th place after one round at the Scotty Duncan Memorial at White Clay Creek GC. Amess and Plisko are tied for 15th in the 86 player field. The Owls carded a 315 (+27) and are 23 strokes behind Cornell and Iona.
Senior Kevin Busteed is tied for 45th after shooting a 79 (+7) and junior Adam Pifer carded a 86 (+14, T-78). Freshman Andrew Mason rounded out the lineup with a 88 (+16, T-80).
Iona's Sean Curtin is the leader in the clubhosue after shooting a three-under 69 to lead the Gaels to a tie for the lead with Cornell (292, +4). Bucknell (298), Penn (306) and Drexel (309) round out the top five teams.
