PHILADELPHIA - Senior goalkeeper Tony Pratico has been named the Soccer Seven co-Player of the Week for the week ending October 7. He becomes the fourth Owl soccer player to earn a league honor this season, joining junior Mackenson Altidor and freshmen Max Kinderwater and Nwanah Kenechukwu, who earned A-10 Player and Rookie of the Week honors this season.

Pratico, a native of Philadelphia and a product of Archbishop Ryan High, made one save in a 2-0 shutout over La Salle Saturday at the Ambler Soccer Complex. It marked his third shutout of the season and extended his scoreless streak to 240 minutes. He leads the Atlantic 10 Conference an is tied for second in the Soccer Seven in goals against average (0.64 GAA) and owns a 3-2-1 record with a .810 save percentage.

The Owls (4-4-1) open Atlantic 10 Conference play this Saturday at Saint Joseph's (7:00 p.m.).
