Fall Racing begins this Saturday on the Schuylkill for the 22nd Annual Navy Day Regatta

Philadelphia, PA- This Saturday will be the start of the racing year for the Men's and Women's Crew Teams. The Navy Day Regatta will take place at the Schuylkill River on October 13th at 11:00 am. The teams will take on competition from local rivals, as well as other schools on the east coast.
Navy Day is the first of four races this fall. Last year the Owls had a strong showing. The Women's Dad Vail Eight placed second overall, the Men's College Eight placed 4th, Women's College JV8 placed 9th, as the Men's College JV8 came in first to win their event. This year the women will be racing in the Champ 8, Dad Vail 8, and the College JV8.
Head Coaches Tim Hagan and Gavin White are excited to get the season under way and have high expectations for their crews.
