Men's Soccer Standout J.T. Noone Earns Academic All-District Honors

Temple University sophomore midfielder J.T. Noone has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Men's Soccer Academic All-District 2 University Division Second Team. The team is voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

An elementary education/secondary education major, Noone has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.93 for his college career, making the Dean's List every semester as well as the Atlantic 10 Conference Honor Roll. He also was named to the President's Honor Roll at the University's 2007 Breakfast of Champions.

A native of Harrisburg, PA (Central Dauphin), Noone has appeared in all 14 games this season starting in 10. He leads the team in assists with three, ranks third in shots with 21, and third in shots on goal with eight.

Temple (4-8-2, 0-4-1) plays at Charlotte tonight (7:00 p.m).
