Mackenson Altidor Named To 2007 Philadelphia Soccer Seven All-Star Team

PHILADELPHIA - Temple junior Mackenson Altidor was named to the 2007 Philadelphia Soccer Seven All-Star team which was announced Monday night at the league's annual awards banquet. The league also announced that Villanova was its Team of the Year and the Wildcats' Mike Seamon was named Player of the Year.

A junior sweeper back, Altidor spearheaded a Temple defense that allowed 1.28 goals against average and posted five shutouts. He was also named the MVP of the Drexel Invitational earlier in the season. This is his first season with the Cherry and White after transferring from Northern Oklahoma Junior College.
