Rhode Island Defeats Temple In Men's Soccer, 2-0

Ambler, PA - Rhode Island (8-7-2, 6-1-1 A-10) tallied two second half goals to defeat Temple (4-11-2, 0-7-1 A-10), 2-0, at the Ambler Sports Complex Friday afternoon.
The score was deadlocked after the first 45 minutes as each team held the other in check. Although, URI outshot the Owls seven to four in the first half, Temple's defense held strong.
The Rams controlled the offense in the second half as they spread the field. URI would first strike only three minutes into the second half as Kedan Crosby scored on a rebound that flew over TU goalkeeper Tony Pratico.
URI would seal the deal in the 89th minute as Lukasz Tumicz scored his team-leading 10th goal of the season on a centering pass from Geoffrey Cameron.
The Owls will close out their season at home this Sunday, against Massachusetts, at 1 p.m. In that game, the Owls will honor their four seniors: goalkeepers Trevor Lyman and Tony Pratico, as well as Mike Minai and David Suah.
