PHILADELPHIA - Temple University senior Kamesha Hairston was invited to attend the WNBA's Pre-Draft Camp at Cleveland State University on March 30-31. The camp offers coaches and general managers from all 13 WNBA teams an opportunity to evaluate the top young players in advance of the 2007 WNBA Draft set to take place in Cleveland on April 4. The prospects will showcase their skills and compete against one another in drills, half court scenarios and full court scrimmages during three on-court sessions.

The 2007 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, Hairston led Temple in scoring (18.9), rebounding (8.6) and steals (61) throughout the season and was consistently ranked in the Top 20 in the nation in scoring. She was also named to the A-10 First Team and All-Defensive Team, as well as the A-10 All-Tournament Team.

Hairston finished the regular season ranked first in the Atlantic 10 in scoring and third in rebounding while leading her team to a first round bye in the 2007 A-10 Championship. The senior from Toledo, OH, finished the regular season tied with a league-leading 11 double-doubles en route to earning five A-10 Player of the Week honors. She led the Owls to their fourth straight 20-win season with a 24-7 mark and has helped Temple win 20 of its last 23 games. A two-time All-Conference honoree, Hairston was the A-10's Most Improved Player in 2005.

Hairston is looking to become Temple's second straight first round draft pick. Candice Dupree was selected sixth overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2006 Draft.

The 2007 WNBA Draft presented by adidas will begin at 1 p.m. ET at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland. ESPN2 will provide exclusive first round coverage of the Draft with continued coverage of the second and third rounds on ESPNU and NBA TV. In addition, WNBA.com will cover all three rounds, providing complete analysis and comprehensive information on all 13 teams' selections.
