VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - The Temple University men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to Longwood University Sunday afternoon. Nathan Spunda and Eduardo Saavedra led the Owls with wins at No. 1 and No. 5 singles, respectively, as they fell to 8-12 overall.
Sophomore Nathan Spunda blanked Carlos Garcia de Andoain, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles. Sophomore Eduarda Saavedra defeated Mani Barajas-Alexander, 7-6, 7-6, at the fifth spot earning the second, and final, point for the Owls.
Temple (8-12) concludes their season at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Monroeville, PA on Thursday, April 5th.
