Women's Crew Places Sixth in Grand Finale In San Diego

SAN DIEGO - Competing in the grand final for the first time in over a decade, the Temple women's crew team finished sixth (7:49.53) in the Women's Cal Cup on Sunday at the San Diego Crew Classic. UC-Davis edged Saint Joseph's for the title. The Owls return to action in two weeks at the Knecht Cup.

The Varsity 8 is comprised of coxswain Jillian Ploof, Stephanie Hanlin (stroke), Laura Altimari (7), Lauren Fattori (6), Rachel Jordan (5), Leah Silverstein (4), Colleen Sullivan (3), Jessica Herrman (2) and Amanda Barr (bow).
