PRINCETON, NJ - Sophomore Amanda Cole continued to re-write the record books, breaking her own program record in the hammer throw as the Temple women's track team competed at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational on Saturday. She finished seventh in the event by throwing 147-8 and also was sixth in the discus (124-8) and seventh in the shot put (42-7).

Junior Jasselle Cruz also had a strong showing in the 400m hurdles, finishing fifth with a personal best time of 1:04.75. Freshman Tashae Croxton was right on her heels in sixth (1:06.15).

In the 100m hurdles, freshman Brittney McRae was fifth with a personal beset time of 14.88, while sophomore Devon DuPont was just .03 behind in seventh.

Junior Cheryl Anscombe finished fifth in the 100m (12.65) and ninth in the 200m (26.11), while sophomore Carlleen Allison was eighth in the 400m (57.07).

The Owls will send several competitors to the Penn Relays beginning on Thursday.
