Men's Tennis Earns #10 Seed in A-10 Championship

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's tennis team earned a tenth-seed in this week's Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship taking place at the Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Pa. The Owls (8-12 overall, 2-6 in A-10 play) will take on seventh-seeded Saint Louis (7-11 overall, 3-1 in A-10 play) Thursday afternoon at 11:00 a.m.
In regular season A-10 competition, Temple defeated Rhode Island, 5-1, and La Salle, 4-0. Saint Louis beat La Salle, 6-0, Xavier, 4-3, and Fordham, 6-0.
Charlotte earned the top seed in the 2007 Championship for the second-straight year, earning one of three first round byes along with second-seed Xavier and third-seed George Washington. St. Bonaventure earned a fourth seed followed by Duquesne (#5), Dayton (#6), Saint Louis (#7), Saint Joseph's (#8), Richmond (#9), Temple (#10), Rhode Island (#11), Fordham (#12) and La Salle (#13).
The winner of the Temple/St. Louis match will take on #2 Xavier on Thursday, April 5 at 5:00 p.m.
