Track Teams Complete Season At IC4A/ECACs

PRINCETON, NJ - The Temple men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their seasons this weekend at the IC4A and ECAC Championships, held at Princeton University. Freshman Brittany McRae had a season-best time of 14.32 to finish 14th in the 100m hurdles, while classmate Melissa Gale was 12th in the pole vault with a personal-best height of 11-5 3/4.
Gale will represent Temple at the NCAA East Regional at the University of Florda on May 25-26.
Sophomore Amanda Cole finished 21th in the hammer throw (144-2) and the 4x400 relay was 16th in a time of 3:52.88.
On the men's side, junior Andrew Fries was ninth in the javelin with a season-best distance of 194-8.
