Godfrey Named Director Of Athletics Ticket Operations

PHILADELPHIA- Owen Godfrey has been named Temple University's Director of Athletics Ticket Operations, a position he previously held during the 2006-07 season.
Godfrey, a 2005 graduate of State University of New York College at Cortland, started his career as an intern in the Temple Athletics External Affairs office in January of 2005. He then was named an Assistant Ticket Manager at The Liacouras Center. In that role, Godfrey assisted with ticket operations for Temple Athletics and all events held at the facility. Managing the box office staff's daily activities, Godfrey facilitated ticket sales for concerts, plays and athletic events. After a year with the Liacouras Center he became the Director of Athletics Ticket Operations for Temple University.
In his position with the athletic department, Godfrey managed all ticket operations. He coordinated ticketing with marketing, development and all other divisions of athletics. Godfrey worked consistently with donors and major gift prospects on all ticketing needs and sales with customers. In addition, Godfrey also worked as an event manager and an event practicum at SUNY Cortland Athletic Department.
Godfrey is currently working towards his master's in athletic administration at Temple.
