4x400 Relay Meets ECAC Standard At PSU Relays

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA - Temple's 4x400 relay, comprised of junior Carlleen Allison, freshman Shadaya Bennett, senior Cheryl Anscombe, and freshman Paris Williams, met ECAC qualifying standards by finishing fifth (3:52.81) at the Penn State Relays on Friday. Williams was also third in the 500m (1:16.23).
The Owls had a strong showing in the 1000m, as senior Noelle McKenzie was third (3:01.13) and classmate Shanice DePass was fourth (3:01.88).
Sophomore Brittney McRae was fourth in the 55m hurdles with a season-best time of 8.32. McRae was also eighth in the long jump (17-9).
Junior Amanda Cole finished seventh in the weight throw (50-2) and was tenth in the shot put (40-0 3/4).
Temple returns to the track on Friday at the Gotham Cup.
