PHILADELPHIA - For the second time in as many months, Temple freshman Paris Williams has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Williams won a pair of events in ECAC qualifying times at the Gotham Cup on Jan. 18 at the New York City Armory.

Williams won the 500m in a time of 1:15.24 and was a member of the 4x400m relay which also finished first (3:52.10). The Aberdeen, MD native was also named the A-10 Rookie of the Week on December 10, 2007.

Temple returns to the Armory on Friday for the Great Dane Classic.
