Kimmel Named Philadelphia Big Five Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After helping Temple to a 2-0 week, including an upset of #13 George Washington, Lindsay Kimmel has been named the Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Week. This is the first Big Five honor of Kimmel's career.

The freshman sharpshooter came up big for the Owls in victories over St. Bonaventure and the Colonials.  Kimmel led Temple in scoring in both games and showed off her long range shooting, converting 50% of her three-pointers.  The Binghamton, N.Y. native scored a career-high 15 points against George Washington, all coming from beyond the arc, to give Temple its second win over a Top 25 team this season.
