PHILADELPHIA - Temple junior Eric Plisko, who posted a pair of top five finishes in the program's most successful week in recent memory, has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced. He shares the award with Dayton's Zach Glassman.

Plisko opened the week with a career-best second place finish at St. Bonaventure's Leo Keenan Invitational after falling on the second hole of a playoff to Glassman. He tied for the tournament lead with a two-over and career-best 70-72=142 on Monday. The Owls finished second in the tournament to Dayton by one stroke.

Plisko was aiming to become Temple's first medalist since Billy Mullen won the Navy Spring Invitational with a two-under 70-70=140 on April 16-17, 2005.

On Sunday, Plisko helped lead the Owls to the Big 5 Invitational title with a 74-70=144 (+2) to tie for fifth. The victory marked the first for the Cherry and White since winning the Scotty Duncan Memorial on May 2, 2005. The Sugar Notch, PA native played the back nine in two-under par and lowered his A-10 leading scoring average to 72.6.

Temple is off this weekend before finishing its fall campaign at the Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational in Kitty Hawk, NC.
