Owls Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Teams Tabbed Fifth in A-10 Preseason Poll

Philadelphia, PA – The Temple Men’s and Women’s indoor Track and Field teams have both been selected to finish fifth in their respective leagues, the Atlantic 10 conference announced this afternoon.
Last season, the men finished fourth at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships, equaling the best finish in program history and marking the Owls first finish above seventh place since 2003. The women’s side finished sixth at the Championships.
Leading the way for the men will be junior Tim Boeni, who lead the Owls with a second (long jump, 23-1 ¾), fourth (high jump, 6-4 ¼) and sixth (200m, 22.72) place finish at the champions and Jose Louis , the 2007 A-10 Indoor Rookie of the Year who finished third in the high jump (6-6 ¼) at the championships last season.
On the women’s side, sophomore Paris Williams (1st place A-10s 500m (1:15.48) and seniors Amanda Cole (fifth place shot put at A-10s, (53-1 ½) school record) and Devon DuPont (Third in longjump (17-9 ¾) and 55m hurdles (8.25) at A-10s) will the lead a Cherry and White that returns much of its roster from last season.
The Owls open up the season on Friday, December 5th with the Jack Pyrah Invitational
