Teaneck, NJ - The Men's Soccer team came away from Fairleigh Dickenson on Saturday with their second tie of the season. The match was scoreless until the second half when Farleigh Dickenson forward Samson Malijani scored from six yards out on a cross from Dan Raoilo. The Owls rallied late in the half, and in the 83rd minute Junior J.T. Noone found the back of the net unassisted to send the game into overtime.
In overtime the Owls turned on the pressure, posting the only two shots, and putting on a solid defensive front for keeper Bret Mollon, who made two saves in the match.
Noone's goal marks his third this season, putting him second on the team in goals and points.
The Owls (4-3-2) begin their Atlantic 10 conference play when they square off at Duquesne next Friday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m.
