J.T. Noone Named OwlSports.com Athlete Of The Month For October

PHILADELPHIA - Junior midfielder J.T. Noone of the men's soccer team has been named Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month for October. Noone, has helped lead the Owls to a 9-4-3, 5-1-1 A-10 record, propelling the team to its best start since 2003.
The Harrisburg, Pa. native has started all seven games this month, compiling four goals and eight assists. Noone's one goal, two-assist performance against #22 Dayton on October 31, helped the Owls defeat a ranked opponent for the first time since October 19, 2003 (Duquesne, 1-0). Currently, he has compiled 12 assists, breaking the school record for assists in a single season, formerly held by Tony Donatelli (9, 2004). The junior leads the Atlantic 10 and ranks second in the nation in assists per game. He also is third in the A-10 in points with 24.
Noone was also honored this month as a member of ESPN The Magazine Men's Soccer Academic All-District 2 University Division First Team.
The Cherry and White will wrap up their regular season when they play host to Fordham, on Friday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m., and celebrate Senior Day on November 9 at 1:00 pm, hosting La Salle.
