Shenita Landry Named Atlantic 10 And Big Five Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After leading the Temple women's basketball team to two wins last week, senior Shenita Landry was named both the Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Week.
Landry averaged 16 ppg and 8.5 rpg to lead Temple to wins over Ball State and an overtime thriller at Tulane. In the game at Ball State, she scored 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting, and grabbed four boards. In the win at Tulane, she posted her fifth double-double of the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds, including a crucial five points in the final two minutes in overtime. She also shot 60% from the field.
This is the second straight week that the Owls have taken home the Conference's top honor.
