Brittney McRae Named Indoor Track Academic All-Atlantic 10

PHILADELPHIA - Temple sophomore Brittney McRae was one of 15 student-athletes named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track All-Academic team, the conference announced on Friday. McRae, who posted a third and fourth place finish at the A-10 Indoor Championship, has a 3.59 GPA as a communications major.
McRae finished third in the 55m hurdles (8.25) and fourth in the long jump (17-7 1/2) at A-10s last weekend. She is an ECAC qualifier in the 55m hurdles and will compete against the region's best athletes next weekend at the ECAC Championship at Boston University.
The Bronx, NY native owns the team's best times in the 55m and 60m hurdles this spring, and was the conference runner-up in the indoor 55m hurdles and outdoor 100m hurdles last season.
