Women's Gymnastics Finishes Fourth at Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH - Competing with heavy hearts following the passing of former coach Ken Anderson, the Temple women's gymnastics team posted a 188.625 while competing at the Pittsburgh quad-meet on Saturday evening. The Owls took home fourth place, trailing host Pittsburgh (194.100), North Carolina (193.725) and Cornell (192.000).
Junior Winter Sneed and senior Desiree Meredith were the top individual performer for the Cherry and White, as both finished tied for eight o the floor with a score of 9.700. Meredith also placed ninth on the vault (9.700). Junior Nina Oteri finished tied for eight on the balance beam with a score of 9.555.
The Cherry and White finish out the season with the ECAC Championships from William and Mary on Saturday, March 29th.
