Morris Named Philadelphia Big Five Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After averaging 15 ppg and 7.5 apg in two games last week, senior Ashley Morris was voted the Big Five Player of the Week.  This is the third Big Five honor of Morris' career.

In two wins last week, Morris led Temple to a share of the A-10 regular season title and a #1 seed in the upcoming A-10 Tournament.  Against St. Louis, the senior led all scorers with 22 points and had seven rebounds and four assists.  She was 10-of-14 from the free throw line.  In Sunday's regular season finale against UMass, Morris dished a career-high 11 assists to go along with five boards and eight points.
