Golf In Sixth Place After 36 Holes At Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ - The Temple golf team stands in sixth place out of 15 teams after 36 holes at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday at Springdale Golf Club. Junior Paul Amess is tied for 15th after shooting a 71-73=144 (+2), while sophomore Eric Plisko recorded a career-best 68 (-3) in round one. He is tied for 21st with a 68-78=146 (+4).
The Owls posted a team score of 290-296=586 (+18) and are 21 strokes behind St. John's (282-283=565, -3). Redshirt freshman Sasha Bozic shot a 76-73=149 (+7) to tie for 30th in the 78-player field.
Freshmen Andrew Mason (75-75=150, +8) and Joseph Kim (78-75=153, +11) are in 38th and 59th place, respectively.
St. John's Keegan Bradley carded a 70-66=136 (-6) to lead teammate Evan Beirne (70-68=138) and Princeton's Max Schecter (67-71=138) by two strokes. Plisko's 68 in the opening round was the fourth-lowest score of the day.
