Bozic's 68 Leads Temple To Fourth Place Finish At Mount St. Mary's

LITTLESTOWN, PA - One day after classmate Andrew Mason set the 18-hole freshman record, redshirt freshman Sasha Bozic matched him with a four-under 68 to lead Temple to a fourth place finish at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational on Saturday. Bozic tied for ninth overall with a 77-72-68=217 (+1) and recorded a career-low with today's 68.
The Owls finished with a 303-290-299=892 (+28) and were 29 shots back of Longwood (288-287-288=863, -1). Army was in second with a three-round score of 883 (+19) and Bryant edged Temple with a score of 891 (+27).
Mason carded an 81 on Saturday to finish with a 75-68-81=224 (+8). He tied for 18th overall in the 95-player field.
Junior Paul Amess tied for 30th with a 78-72-78=228 (+12). Sophomore Eric Plisko (75-79-75=229, +13) and freshman Joseph Kim (76-78-78=232, +16) rounded out the Temple scorecard in T-36th and T-50th, respectively.
Army's Matt Krembel won the individual title with a 74-66-66=206 (-10) on the 7,027-yard, par-72 Quail Valley Golf Course.
Temple has one final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championship next weekend at the Virginia Cavalier Classic.
