Four Advance to Event Finals as Women's Gymnastics Finishes Season at USAG Championships

SHREVPORT, LA - Juniors Christie McNeill, Winter Sneed, Natasha Crawford and Nina Oteri all advanced to the events finals as the Temple women's gymnastics team closed out the 2008 season while competing at the USAG Championships from Centenary College on Sunday afternoon.
By advancing to the event finals, all three were named first team USAG All-Americans. Crawford and Oteri were named first team All-Americans on the beam, while Sneed received the honor on the floor and McNeill on the vault. In addition, Oteri and McNeill were named second team USAG All-Americans on the bars and vault respectively, both just narrowly missing the finals.
Crawford was the top Cherry and White performer on the day, earning fourth place on the beam with a score 9.675. Oteri finished in sixth place on the beam with a score of 9.625. McNeill earned honors on the vault, scoring a 9.662 for a seventh place finish. Sneed finished eleventh on the floor with a score of 9.125.
