Bozic Earns Third A-10 Rookie Of The Week This Spring

PHILADELPHIA - For the third time this spring, Temple freshman Sasha Bozic has been named the Atlantic 10 Golf Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. Bozic finished ninth at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational this weekend after shooting a 77-72-68=217 (+1), leading the Owls to a fourth place finish.
Bozic tied teammate Andrew Mason's 18-hole freshman record, which was just a day old, with a four-under 68 on Saturday. The Beach Lake, PA native is third on the team with a 75.5 stroke average. His 18-hole score of 68 on Saturday and his 54-hole score of 217 were both career-bests.
He also earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors on March 17 and April 7.
Temple returns to the links this weekend at the Cavalier Classic, hosted by the University of Virginia, at Birdwood Golf Course.
