Witmer Earns A-10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - The conference announced today that for the second time this season, Freshman Tyler Witmer is named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, for the week ending September 28.

Witmer, a graduate of Conrad Weiser high school, netted his fourth goal of the season in a 3-0 shutout of Rider on Friday. The Freshman forward struck again on Sunday, scoring unassisted his second goal of the weekend, helping the Owls tie undefeated Penn, 2-2.

The Freshman forward has made six starts for the Cherry and White, and currently leads the team in goals (5), and points (10).

The Owls (4-3-1) travel to Farleigh Dickenson on Saturday, October 4th, to wrap up their non-conference schedule.
