PHILADELPHIA-The Temple women's basketball team (11-6, 3-1 A-10) travels to Olean, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon to take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (13-5, 2-1 A-10) at 1 p.m. St. Bonaventure is celebrating WBCA's Think Pink Day. All fans are encouraged to wear pink and make a donation to the WBCA/Kay Yow Foundation.

Series Record
This is the 44th meeting between Temple and St. Bonaventure, with Temple leading the series, 28-15. The Owls won the last meeting, 73-62, on January 15, 2008 and have won the last 10 meetings.

Scouting the Owls

Temple claimed a share of the 2009 Big Five title with a 62-55 win over La Salle on Wednesday. The Big Five title is the Owls' sixth consecutive and sixth in the last eight years. Having won five consecutive titles outright, Temple will share the 2009 title with the winner of the St. Joseph's-La Salle game (Feb. 11). Shenita Landry led all players with her ninth career double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Shaqwedia Wallace finished with 14 points, including a career-best four three-point buckets. Junior LaKeisha Eaddy added 13 points and eight assists. Overall, Temple out-rebounded La Salle, 40-22. Both teams shot 44 percent from the field.

Landry leads four Owls in double figures with 13.2 ppg and a team-high 9.5 rpg, while Shanea Cotton is second with 12.3 ppg. Wallace is third with 11.6 ppg. Eaddy is fourth with 10.6 ppg and has dished a squad-high 83 assists.

Scouting the Bonnies

St. Bonaventure's comeback attempt came up just short, as it dropped a tough 71-64 battle to Richmond on Tuesday. The Bonnies overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to take a lead late in the second half, but Richmond's Brittani Shells took over soon after to propel the Spiders to the victory. Junior Dana Mitchell led St. Bonaventure in scoring with 18 points on 7-for-14 from the field. Freshman Megan Van Tatenhove played a very efficient game for the Bonnies as well, scoring a season-high 18 points on 3-of-5 from the field and an impressive 10-of-10 shooting from the foul line.

Mitchell leads the Bonnies in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.7 ppg and 5.6 rpg, while Katelyn Murray is second with 10.9 ppg. Priscilla Edwards has dished a team-high 53 assists thus far this season.

Lending a Helping Hand
LaKeisha Eaddy is quickly climbing the career assists list. The Columbia, Md. native currently has 293 assists, which is ranked 10th on Temple's all time assists list.

Oh Captain, My Captain
In the great tradition of senior captains, Shenita Landry has proved that she has what it takes to lead her team to victory. Landry has notched seven double-doubles in 17 games and just missed two more against #15 Rutgers (12/1) an Penn (1/2). At Villanova, she had 10 boards, all defensive and had a career-high 19 pts at Penn (1/2) and URI (1/14). The senior is averaging nearly a double-double of 13.2 ppg and 9.5 rpg and has netted in double figures in every game but three this season.
