BOSTON, MA - Senior Amanda Cole had another record breaking performance this weekend at the Boston University Terrier Invitational. Cole placed sixth in the shot put, but saved her best for the weight throw, placing third (58-11.5) and breaking her own school record set just last weekend.
Along with Cole, classmate Brittany McCrae met ECAC qualifying standards in the long jump, placing 4th with a distance of 17-07.00. Sophomore Brittany OgunMokun met qualifying standards for the ECAC in the 500m, with a time of 1:15.04, good enough for sixth place.
The 4x400 and 4x800 teams also had good showings, each meeting ECAC qualifying standards with a 4th place time of 3:49.33, and 7th place time of 9:24.34, respectively.
The Women's track team is back in action next weekend, January 30th and 31st, at the Bison Multi in Lewisburg, Pa.
