Scouting the Owls
Down by just three points with one minute to go, LaKeisha Eaddy desperately tried to make a three-pointer to send the game into overtime but both attempts fell short, giving the St. Bonaventure a 55-52 win over Temple on Saturday. Kristen McCarthy was on fire in the first half, scoring 11 of TU's 29 total points, while picking up career-highs of four steals and two blocks. The Owls made 46% of their shots but committed 12 first-half turnovers, allowing the Bonnies to keep the game close. The Cherry and White struggled to make shots in the second half, however, making just 29.4% compared to the Bonnies' 52.4%. McCarthy finished the game with 16 points and career-highs of six steals and two blocks. Eaddy had 12 points, while Shenita Landry had a game-high 11 rebounds.

Landry leads four Owls in double figures with 12.6 ppg and a team-high 9.6 rpg, while Shanea Cotton is second with 11.5 ppg. Shaqwedia Wallace is third with 11.2 ppg. Eaddy is fourth with 10.6 ppg and has dished a squad-high 88 assists.

Scouting the Chippewas
Angel Chan paced four players in double-figures with 24 points and Kaihla Szunko finished off her seventh double-double of the season as Central Michigan held on for an 89-81 victory over the University at Buffalo on Saturday. Chan connected on 8-of-16 field goals, including 4-of-9 treys, to produce her third 20-point effort of the season. Szunko finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds, with 11 points and nine board coming in the game's opening frame before foul trouble limited her in the second half.

Britni Houghton leads four Chippewas in double figures with 17.6 ppg, while Chan is second with 15.1 ppg. Brandie Baker is third, averaging 11.7 ppg and Szunko is fourth with a double-double of 10.3 ppg and 10.1 rpg.
