Sophomore forward posted two goals on the weekend
PHILADELPHIA – After a two-goal weekend which included the game-winning tally in double-overtime against Massachusetts, Temple men's soccer standout Tyler Witmer has been named Soccer Six Co-Player of the Week.
Netting on a feed from junior Max Kinderwater, Witmer won the game for the Owls in the 104th minute against Massachusetts. In Sunday's loss to Rhode Island, he netted TU's lone goal, bringing his team leading tally to six. He also leads the team in points with 15, adding three dishes on the season.
The Cherry and White (7-4-1, 2-1-0 A-10) are back in action this weekend, when they do battle with Atlantic 10 foes St. Bonaventure on October 23rd (12:30 p.m.) and Duquesne on October 25th (2:30 p.m.) at Ambler Sports Complex.
