Temple Basketball Tip-Off Reception Set for November 4

Meet Coach Dunphy and Coach Cardoza as well as Owl team captains
PHILADELPHIA - Fans of the Temple University basketball programs are invited to preview the season in a new way Wednesday, November 4 at the upscale Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse at 15th & Chestnut Streets in Center City.
From 6-8 p.m., head coaches Fran Dunphy and Tonya Cardoza and their respective men's and women's basketball team captains will meet and greet Temple alumni, fans and friends. Both coaches and their captains will give glimpses of the 2009-10 season in a private area of the steakhouse. Following the reception, a private multi-course dinner opportunity with both coaches is available.
The Temple Tip-Off reception admission is just $25 for alumni and young professionals ages 35 and under; alumni and friends over 35 pay $35 for admission. The event includes hors d'oeuvres, a drink ticket and special Tip-Off drink pricing courtesy of Del Frisco's. For those interested in a private dinner with Coach Dunphy and Coach Cardoza following the open reception, the following options are available. A “Head Coach” sponsorship of $500 individual/$750 couple includes business or individual recognition signage at the event and admission to the private dinner; Owl Club Credit (minus benefits received) will be given for both of these levels as well at the “Assistant Coach” level of $100 that includes name recognition and event access.
