PHILADELPHIA- The Temple women's basketball team (15-7, 6-2 A-10) travels to Massachusetts Wednesday looking to keep its winning streak alive and stay perfect on School Days, taking on the Minutewomen (9-14, 2-6 A-10) at 11:45 a.m. The Owls are currently riding a four-game winning streak.

This is the 46th meeting between Temple and UMass, with Temple leading the series, 27-18. The Owls won the last meeting, 64-46, on March 1, 2008.
Owls + Kids = Winners
Temple should consider playing all of its games in front of thousands of screaming children, as the Owls are a perfect 7-0 on their School Day. The Cherry and White have also set multiple Liacouras Center records on School Day including field goal percentage (62.2) vs. Charlotte (1/6/06), most points scored in a half (56) against St. Bonaventure (1/13/05), most points scored in a game (95) and field goals made (37) vs. URI (1/14/09) . TU is 2-0 thus far this year on School Days, after defeating Fordham, 59-43, on February 4th.
Scouting the Owls
It was the LaKeisha Eaddy and Kristen McCarthy show from the Liacouras Center Sunday, as the duo were nearly unstoppable in the first half, combining for 26 of the Owls' 34 points, to lead Temple over Saint Louis, 76-56. McCarthy tied a career-high with 19 points while Eaddy finished with 18 points and 11 assists. This is the third time that Eaddy has posted a double-double in points and assists this season. Not to be outdone, Shenita Landry joined Eaddy with a double-double of her own, scoring 12 points - 10 in the second half - while pulling down 11 rebounds. Shaqwedia Wallace added 13 points, all in the second half.
Landry leads four Owls in double figures with 12.1 ppg and a team-high 9.6 rpg, while Wallace is second with 11.8 ppg. Eaddy is third with 11.3 ppg and has dished a team-high 117 assists and Shanea Cotton is fourth with 11.0 ppg.
