Atlantic 10 Announces Commissioner's Honor Roll For Fall Semester

PHILADELPHIA - Fifty Temple University student-athletes were named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2008 semester, the conference announced Thursday. All 1,118 members of the honor roll were recognized by Commissioner Bernadette McGlade for posting a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
"It is a great privilege to recognize so many dedicated individuals who epitomize the true meaning of student-athlete," says McGlade. "Their desire to attain excellence both in the classroom and in their respective sport is a great reflection of not only their teammates and institution, but the entire Atlantic 10 Conference."
The Temple women's crew team led all Cherry and White programs with 13 student-athletes honored. Only sports that compete under the Atlantic 10 governance were recognized.
