Women's Gymnastics Falls to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.V. - The Temple women's gymnastics team finished with a season-high score of 191.650, but it was not enough for the Cherry and White (5-5) to top home-standing West Virginia, as the Owls fell 195.650-191.650 in the duel meet on Sunday afternoon.
Junior Nina Oteri was the top individual performer for the Cherry and White, tying for first place on the balance beam with a score of 9.775.
The Mountaineers swept the rest of the indivdual crowns.
Sophomore Katie Canning finished the all-around with a score of 38.750.
The Owls head to north for their next meet, as they travel to Alaska-Anchorage for two duel meets beginning on Thursday.
