Canning Named ECAC Gymnast of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Katie Canning of the women's gymnastics team has been named the ECAC Gymnast of the Week for the week ending February 24, the conference announced.

This is the second time that Canning has earned the award this season and second time in as many weeks, the previous time coming last week for the week ending February 17.

The Billercia, Mass native won the all-around title when the Owls faced Alaska-Anchorage over the weekend. She had several careers bests: uneven bars (9.650), beam (9.750) and
the all-around (38.775).
