Track Teams Compete At NYU FasTrack Invitational

NEW YORK, NY - The Temple men's and women's track and field teams competed in their final indoor meet of the season this past Friday at the NYU FasTrack Invitational. Grant West led the Owls in the weight throw with an IC4A toss, while Tashima Stephens nabbed the Owls only first place finish on the day.
Also on the men's side, Jason Sullivan had a season best time in the 800m, crossing the finish line in a time of 1:55.54.
Aaron Taylor also had a banner day, with an IC4A qualifying time of 1:04.76 in the 500m.
For the women, Tashima Stephens nabbed a first place finish in the 500m with a time of 1:14.71, an ECAC mark and personal best.
In the 60m hurdles, Brittany Clybourne and Brittney McRae tied for fifth in the event with season best times of 8.94. Clybourne also had a personal best in the long jump, with a distance of 18-05.75.
The Owls take to action next when the ECAC/IC4A qualifiers head to Boston, Mass., March 7th to the 8th, for the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
