Cole Leads Owls at New Balance Invitational

NEW YORK, NY - Senior Amanda Cole had another record breaking performance at this weekend's New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York City. Cole, along with Brittany OgunMokun and Tashima Stephens, recorded personal bests in their events.

Cole continues to thrive in the weight throw, extending her school record with an ECAC qualifying distance of 60-05.25, solidifying a third place finish overall. OgunMokun ran a personal best 2:14.76, placing sixth in her section of the 800m. In the same heat, Stephens ran a personal best 2:16.05.

The 4x400m relay team put on an ECAC qualifying performance with a time of 3:49.40. Also nabbing an ECAC qualifying mark, was Brittany McRae. McRae placed 9th in her section of the long jump with a distance of 18-08.00.

The Owls head to compete next at the Bucknell Winter Classic on February 14th.
