PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's and women's track & field teams' travel to Boston for this weekend's ECAC/IC4A Championships. The men qualified seven individuals, and are joined by their 4x400m relay team. The women had six athletes meet qualifying marks, with their 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams making the trip as well.
For the men, senior Marquise Stancil will race alongside underclassmen Aaron Taylor and Anthony Boone in the 500m. Sophomore Joshua Louis claimed the only other qualifying time in a track event, posting a time of 8.13 in the 60m hurdles.
In the field events, Louis will also vie for a title in the high jump, qualifying earlier this season with a height of 2.09m at the Metro Coaches Invite. Joining Louis in the jumps will be Tim Boeni and Miles Dryden, who will contend for a title in the long jump.
Junior Grant West will be the Owls lone thrower at the IC4A's. West qualified this past weekend at the NYU FasTrack, when he posted a toss of 17.08m.
On the women's side, Atlantic 10 Women's Track Performer of the Year Paris Williams looks to claim individual gold in two events. Williams qualified for the 400m at the Metro Coaches Invite with a time of 56.62, and the following weekend met ECAC marks in the 500m at the Gotham Cup, with a time of 1:14.06.
Tashima Stephens and Brittany OgunMokun complete the Owls trio of 500m runners. Stephens, a sophomore, qualified for the ECAC's this past weekend when she ran a personal best 1:14.71 at the NYU FasTrack. OgunMokun ran a time of 1:15.04 at the Terrier Classic, and continues to make her freshman debut one to remember.

One of the Cherry and White's most versatile athletes, senior Devon DuPont will be competing in the long jump and pentathlon. Dupont landed a distance of 5.68m in the long jump at the Jack Pyrah Invitational, and scored 3457 points in the pentathlon at the Bison Multi, both performances qualifying her for this weekend.
Competing alongside Dupont in the long jump will be sophomore Brittney McRae. McRae posted the third longest jump in the conference this season, reaching 5.79m at the Jack Pyrah Invitational.
Senior Amanda Cole, a second place finisher at the A-10's, qualified for the ECAC's when she bettered her school record (60-05.25) at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.
