Women's Crew Competes At Knecht Cup

CAMDEN, NJ The Temple women's freshman/novice eight boat placed second to Wisconsin in the petite final at the Knecht Cup on Saturday, in the regatta held on the Cooper River and hosted by Villanova. The Owls' varsity eight placed fourth in the third level final.
Rowing the Owls frosh/novice eight to a finishing time of 8:22.2 was Dana Meadows, Megan Hanlin, Amy Shrader, Allison Boc, Molly Schreiner, Rebecca Rosenberg, Taylor Wasserleben, Kara Jackson, and coxswain Isabella Bourbon.
The Varsity eight finished in a time of 7:32.8, and was rowed by Laura Altimari, Laura Scullin, Bailey Chick, Kendra Dickenson, Brynn Moore, Mary Webster, Mary Peach, Nicole Wagner, and coxswain Jillian Ploof.
The Cherry and White compete next back on the Cooper River in the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, April 18.
