AMBLER, PA - Sophomore Andrew Mason shot his second straight 73 (+2) to help the Temple golf team to a third place showing after two rounds at the Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday. Mason is tied for sixth place with a four-over 146 and trails the leader, Charlotte's Corey Nagy, by six strokes with one round to play.

Junior Eric Plisko is tied for tenth after carding identical 74s on Friday and Saturday. He is six-over and just eight shots off the lead.

Senior Kevin Busteed shot a 78 (+7) on Saturday and is eight-over for the tournament, good for 14th place. He is two shots out of the top 10.

Sophomore Joseph Kim (75-82=157, +15) is tied for 27th and senior Adam Pifer is tied for 45th with an 81-82=163 (+21).

As a team, Temple shot a 307 on Saturday and is in third place behind Charlotte (572, +4) and Xavier (588, +20). TU is 13 shots behind the Musketeers and one shot ahead of fourth place St. Bonaventure.
