Women's Varsity 8 Takes Third At San Diego Crew Classic

SAN DIEGO, CA - The Women's Varsity 8 traveled to San Diego, CA this past weekend for the San Diego Crew Classic. The Owls took home third place in Sunday's Petite Cup final, beating out Georgetown, Loyola, and Villanova.

The Varsity 8 consisted of Laura Altimari, Laura Scullin, Bailey Chick, Kendra Dickenson, Brynn Moore, Nicole Wagner, and coxswain Jillian Ploof. The Cherry and White crossed the finish line in a time of 7:12.29, with Purdue and San Diego State finishing first and second, respectively.

The Owls are back in action this weekend when they compete in the Knecht Cup, April 10 and 11 in Camden, NJ.
