Women's 4x400 Relay Team Captures Second Place at ECAC Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Temple women’s 4x400 relay team took second place in the ECAC 4x400 relay finals to highlight the Owls’ performance on the final day of the ECAC/IC4A champions on Sunday afternoon.

Individually, sophomore Assata Cowart finished in seventh place in the ECAC women's 400 meter hurdles finals.

The 4x400 relay team - consisting of senior Carlleen Allison, senior Devon DuPont senior, senior Tashima Stephens and sophomore Paris Williams - finished with a time 3:42.73 to earn second place. The team from Seton Hall captured first place with a time of 3:36.57.

Cowart finished in a time of 1:00.69 in the 400m hurdles finals, good for seventh place and once again meeting NCAA Regional qualifying standards.
