Paris Williams Named Owlsports.com Athlete Of The Month For May

PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Paris Williams, a sprinter on the Temple women's track and field team, has been named Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month for the month of May. Williams, who was also named Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month in February, is the lone Owl student-athlete to earn the honor twice this season.
The sophomore sprinter won the 400 meter title at the Atlantic 10 Conference Outdoor Championships, and was a member of the 4x400 team that placed second at the A-10s as well as the ECAC Championships.
The native of Aberdeen, MD also placed third in both the 100 and 200 meter dash at the Swarthmore Last Chance meet. She ended her season with a 14th place showing in the 400 at the NCAA Regionals.
