Noone and Kinderwater earn all-tournament honors

Norfolk, Va. – In the final game of the STIHL Tournament, the Temple men's soccer team (1-2-1) was defeated by host Old Dominion 4-0. All-tournament honors went to senior J.T. Noone and junior Max Kinderwater.

Old Dominion netted their first goal in the 16th minute of the contest from Steffen Rabben, steadily attacking the TU defense. Another goal by ODU's Bobby Fogelsong would put the host up 2-0 at halftime.

An early second half goal from Ambane Emmanuel and another tally from Rabben would give the home team a padded 4-0 win.

Starting in goal for TU was junior Bret Mollon, allowing two goals and making one save. A switch at half would give senior Bryant Hosler a much anticipated chance at some action. Hosler let up two goals, posting three saves.

Sophomore Tyler Witmer led the Owls with two shots on goal, with TU being out shot 20-10.

The Cherry and White (1-2-1) return home to Ambler next Friday for a showdown with Navy at 3:30 p.m.
