Qwedia Wallace Earns Third Big 5 Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's basketball's Qwedia Wallace has earned her third Big 5 Player of the Week Award this season, after averaging 13.5 points per game in the Owls' 2-0 week as they defeated Fordham and Saint Joseph's in A-10 and Big 5 action.
Wallace shot 5-of-9 from behind the arc en route to a game-high 17 points against Fordham as Temple cruised to a 67-34 win.
She also scored in double figures in Temple's overtime win vs. A-10 and Big 5 foe Saint Joseph's with 10 points. For the week, Wallace averaged 4.0 rebounds per game, shot 42 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range.
