Freshman led the Owls all-around at Ursinus Quad-Meet
PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's gymnastics freshman Jean Alban has been named ECAC Women's Gymnastics Rookie of the Week, for the week ending January 25.
Debuting in the all-around, the Springfield, Mass. native (SABIS International Charter) hit four for four to place fifth in the all-around standings (37.525). Alban also earned sixth on balance beam with a score of 9.60, and placed eighth on uneven bars (9.275).
The Owls are back in action tonight traveling up the New Jersey Turnpike to compete against Rutgers. Action is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. Scarletknights.com will provide a live broadcast of the meet through KnightVision Broadband.
