Volleyball Set to Host Two A-10 Matches in McGonigle This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple volleyball team is in the midst of a four-match homestand, and will play the last two of those matches this weekend as the Owls host No. 19 Dayton and Xavier. First up is a 7:00 p.m. contest against Dayton on Friday, Oct. 8.

The matches will be streamed live online at the following links:
Temple vs. Dayton (Oct. 8, 7:00 p.m.)
Temple vs. Xavier (Oct. 9, 7:00 p.m.)

Both matches will be free to fans.

Temple is looking to continue its momentum from a 3-0 sweep of A-10 and city rival La Salle last week, and a 3-1 win vs. Long Island on Oct. 5. The Owls are 4-13 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The Owls will face a real test with nationally-ranked Dayton. The 19th-ranked Flyers are 13-3 overall and undefeated in the A-10 at 4-0.

TU will face Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9. The Musketeers are 10-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
